Wedding in Plano

Congratulations Shelly & James!
The bride and groom requested each tier have a different flavor. Our traditional white and lemon cake with butter cream icing was choosen for their wedding cake.

The cake was decorated with black polka dots and scroll work over the white butter cream icing. Along the bottom of each tier is a black satin ribbon. To bring in the Brides favorite color red, we placed red gum paste Gerber daisies along with white Dogwood flowers on top of the cake.

Shelly loves ICING'S sugar cookies. To coordinate with the wedding cake we decorated the sugar cookies in black and white monogrammed with initial of their last name.

Confectionately yours,
Jeannie

Beautiful display of fresh fruit by Keesha's Catering
I adore the vintage white church in the background.

A Wedding At Orion Ballroom

Over the weekend, we had our first delivery to the Orion Ballroom , located in Dallas for the wedding of Natalie & Arturo.

The ballroom is located on the 15th floor with a spectacular view of downtown Dallas. Meagan the coordinator was very helpful in making our first visit a pleasant one, along with delivery and set up a breeze. Thank you Meagan for all of your help!

Natalie & Arturo had choosen for their wedding cake, a four tier square shape Italian cream cake with cream cheese icing, decorated with a detail scrolling design. Putting the finishing touch to the cake was fresh cybinnium orchids by Alishia Salmon, with Happily Ever Flowers

The groom enjoys playing guitar and his favorite cake is German chocolate so there was no question what his groom's cake was going to be. We added buttercream music notes along the sides of the cake, filling the top and bottom of the cake with shaved chocolate and dipped strawberries, drizzled with milk and white chocolate.

I hope your day is a sweet one!

Autumn Leaves

One of ICING's all time favorite cake request is our three layer moist chocolate fudge cake with chocolate ganache.

With autumn right around the corner we have added a warm fall motif, scattering fondant leaves on top and around the cake in the warm colors of the season. We can even add small acorns or pumpkins if you like.
There are some folks already thinking ahead for Thanksgiving and have included us in their holiday planning. Thank you!

Have a sweetful day!

Give the Gift Of Autumn

We have created a basket full of leaves and pumpkin sugar cookies decorated in beautiful warm tones of Autumn. This basket gift can be customized and would make a wonderful way to say Thank You, Happy Birthday, Get Well, just because or a hostess gift.

Or if you are in charge of bringing the dessert. We can put them on a tray for you. Shhh... we won't tell you didn't bake them.

Heat up the apple cider and leave (no pun intended) the rest to us.

Confectionately yours,
Jeannie

Dallas Cowboys Fans

We had a few birthday cake requests lately, for Dallas football fans.
The cakes were three layer chocolate cake decorated with buttercream icing in the Dallas Cowboy colors and football theme.

Also, as party favors we made football sugar cookies on a stick.

For your next football party give us a call to make your desserts. We can do your cake or cookies in any team color.

Peach Puffs Pastry

This delicate pastry is filled with peaches and dusted lightly with powder sugar. If peaches are not your thing we can fill the pastry puffs with your favorite fruit.

This would add a special finish touch to any brunch with family and friends.

Traditional White Wedding Cake

For Truston and Rachel's wedding cake, they picked our traditional white cake flavor with butter cream icing and rolled fondant.

The five tier cake had touches of polka dots. Since their wedding theme had seashells in it, we decorated the bottom borders of each layer to resemble sea shells.

Truston loves his jeep! So we made his grooms cake in the shape of a jeep.

The cake flavor was chocolate fudge cake with buttercream icing and rolled fondant.

Confectionately yours,
Jeannie

K-Star Ranch Wedding

Congratulations Brandi and Adrian!

They had their wedding at
K-Star Ranch. For their wedding cake they pick a four tier squared stacked cake. The cakes were set on an angle with orchid fresh flowers and a touch of greenery. Placed at each angle were lighted votive candles. Brandi's favorite cake flavor is almond with butter cream icing.

Adrian groom's cake was his all time favorite chocolate fudge cake at ICING. It was frosted with chocolate butter cream icing and chocolate. Chocolate ganache was poured over the top as it dizzled down the sides topped with chocolate dipped & tuxedo style strawberries.

Confectionately yours,
Jeannie

Quinceanera At Waxahachie Country Club

Victoria celebrated her quinceanera at Waxahachie Country Club and choosen our Italian cream cake with cream cheese icing. She wanted a each tier to have a different design that would compliment one another in a sage and cream white color. We created each tier in hearts, swirls, cornelli lace and poka dots. The floating clear acrylic stands were used with white netting tucked around the base of cake stand. The cake top came from
Wilton

She gave each of her attendants a sugar cookie in the shape of a dress decorated in white and sage colors, with the number 15 on each dress. The dress cookies were packaged in cellophene bags tied with sage green satin ribbon.

Jeannie
