THIRD ANNUAL TASTE OF RED OAK

As a toddler Zach would ask Nana to bake him some donuts. But really they were Genetties an Italian wedding cookie omitting the Anise extract. This is the story behind Zachary's Donuts.
At the event we handed out a taste of Zahary's donuts, lemon knots, sugar cookies, Nana's scones, Chocolate Fudge cake with Chocolate Fudge icing and Strawberry Passion cake with Strawberry flavored Butter cream icing.
We had 3 drawings for 6" Whoopie Pies.

Our first winner Marilyn was tickled as a button.

This little guy Colton kept passing by the table wishing and wishing he could one of those Whoopie Pies. Finally when his name was drawn this little wipper snapper was beaming ear to ear.

This is Randy's proud daughter standing by her papa's BBQ award.

There were other vendors such as JB's Pizza, Brookshires, Uncle Willie's Pies, The Divine Confections Cafe, Amaya's, Chicken Express, What A Burger and Sparklet's Water.

Kyle celebrated his Christening with a chocolate marble sheet cake frosted with Butter cream icing. Topped off with a set of booties made out of chocolate cake iced with Butter cream sitting on a fondant plaque. Butter cream ruffles were draped along the edges of the cake.

This cake was served at Emma's Bridal Boutique for their ribbon cutting http://emmasbridalboutique.com. The cake consist of a layer of Almond Chocolate and a layer Almond White cake frosted with Butter cream icing.
Scroll work was embellished on the top and sides of the cake. A black satin ribbon was wrapped around the bottom of the cake coordinating the black beading around the black E for Emma's.

Large flowers and lady bugs are the decor in Haylan's nursery. Momma wanted to incorporate these things on the shower cake. The cake was ICING'S strawberry passion frosted with butter cream icing. Flowers and lady bugs were cut out of white fondant and Chocolate Fondant tasting like a tootsie roll.

Happy Birthday Eddie!!! OOps!!!! Sorry took the picture upside down it's been a long week. Eddie's cake and cupcakes were White Almond cake and Chocolate Almond cake with Butter cream icing. White Butter cream embossing was used to wish Eddie a Happy Birthday. Circles were cut out of Chocolate fondant tasting like a tootsie roll.

Destination wedding in Mexico

The cupcake table included
an 8" round Mexican Chocolate
cake frosted with white butter cream icing.

Under the sea creatures were made out of white fondant.
Topped off with Fresh Irises and Tiger Lilies.

The Bride requested Tres Leches cupcakes

Traditional White, Chocolate Fudge, and Pineapple
cupcakes frosted with buttercream icing.

Shells were provided for guest to write a
messages to the bride and groom.
What a uniqe keepsake for the bride and groom.



Linins were provided by Wedding Ect.

Sue Ussery mother of the groom is a artisic Wedding Planner.
She did an amazing job decorating, giving everyone
the feel of Mexico.

The gift table had this vintage looking
treasure chest to place wedding cards in.

The wedding favors were flip flop cookies.

A bowl of sand, sea shells, star fish and candle
were used as center pieces for each table.

Every girls dream wedding in MEXICO.
